Poker Run Benefiting Lake County Sheriff's Children's Charity This Event Expired on October 17, 2020. If you are the coordinator for this event please login to edit your show dates and information. Poker runs typically involve motorcyclists, but you can plan a poker run for cars, boats or other vehicles. Your organization may choose to donate 100 percent of the profits to your charity, or you may need to deduct expenses.
Russell Marine presents the 17th Annual Lions Lake Martin Charity Poker Run
The day is filled with boating, fun, family and friends all while raising money for local Lake Martin charities. This year, participants will start at Kowaliga Marina and end at The Ridge Marina for food and awards.
Due to COVID-19, this year’s Poker Run will have a few modifications in order to ensure everyone’s safety. Russell Marine staff, Lions Club members and participants will be required to wear masks. We have changed the route, and the final stop will now be at The Ridge Marina in order to allow for social distancing. Social distancing will be enforced. There will be no alcohol sales at The Ridge Marina after NOON and unfortunately, no live music.
ENTRY FEE IS $150 which includes an official event T-Shirt, a Lake Martin Summer T-Shirt, a Russell Marine bag, koozies and a pirate flag. Please make check payable to Alexander City Lions Club and return with registration to any Russell Marine location or mail to:

- You must be 18 years or older to enter. Participants under 18 may enter with a parent or guardian.
- Registration is from 8:30 am – 11:00 am at Kowaliga Marina
- You will pick up card from the following location during the indicated times:
- Kowaliga Marina, (256) 397-1300, 8:30 am – 11:00 am
- Real Island Marina, (256) 397-1200, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm
- Harbor Pointe Marina, (256) 825-0600, 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
- River North Marina, (256) 397-1500, 11:00 am – 3:00 pm
- Ridge Marina, (256) 215-7035, 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
- Poker Run announced at The Ridge Marina (must be present to win) at 4:00 pm
- Swapping or trading cards is strictly prohibited. Violators will be disqualified
- To improve your hand, one additional card may be purchased for a $25 donation. This can only be done at The Ridge Marina between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm
- Event management reserves the right to make any rule interpretations and/or decisions regarding this event. Any questions during the event can be directed to any participating marina, or you may call (256) 749-4388
- Prize breakdown:
- Highest Hand – 1st, 2nd and 3rd $3,000 total
- Worst Hand – 1st, 2nd and 3rd $1,500 total
- Best Dressed Crew – 1st, 2nd and 3rd $1,300 total

Naturalist Presentations & Guided Nature Tours
